Artists: Enick Brice
Enick Brice was born in Mirogoane May 20, 1950. He started out as a framer of paintings, and began painting in 1972. In 1979 he caught the attention of the famous artist Seymour Bottex, who encouraged him to paint.
Brice developed his own unique style, and has become popular internationally. Under the sponsorship of Mrs. Mitterrand, wife of the French President, his works were exhibited in Paris and Nimes. His paintings have also been shown at the National Museum in Mexico city, throughout Europe, and in Jamaica.
